Josh... So many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
it seems without you in mylife
things have never been the same.

What happened to all those time
when I always looked to you;
no matter what happened in life
you could make my grey skies blue.

Josh, somedays I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning... It seems
the sound has been erased.

Josh, Who will I turn to for answers
when life doesn't make sense;
Who will be there
when the peices just don't fit?

When Today Started Without You

When today started without you,
I wished it were all a dream.
I could not eat, and I could not sleep,
Remembering all the things we have seen.

When today started without you,
I thought it should start without me too.
But I knew I needed to be here for our family,
And friends you knew.

When today started without you,
I cried, I kicked, and wanted to scream.
I kept remembering all the times we have shared,
Togehter, the things we were ment to remember.

When today started without you,
I knew then you were really gone.
And I knew I would have to be and stay strong,
For when tomorrow becomes today,
And starts without you too.


For those who are not family, I am Josh's Cousin, 6 weeks older 
then him, we were really close, best friends, no story I told didn't 
have him, and no story he told didn't have me.
I wrote this the night after he had died, he was my best friend, 
he found some way to bring me the man who saved my life. 
My husband, Chris 
To this day. I thank Josh, and still think of him
every night, but I no longer need him like I thought I
did. 
Mama Chris and Papa Steve, are not my Aunt and Uncle, they are my
second parents, I love them and God Bless them.
